...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CALDWELL AND CENTRAL BURKE
COUNTIES THROUGH 645 AM EDT...

At 621 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Foscoe to 10 miles south of Blowing Rock
to 8 miles northwest of Morganton. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lenoir, Sawmills, Gamewell, Hudson, Cajah`s Mountain, Blowing Rock In
Caldwell County, Cedar Rock, Table Rock, Lake Rhodhiss, and
Collettsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
