The National Weather Service office in Huntsville AL has deployed a survey team to investigate damage across Madison County. The surveys are in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on May 8-9, 2024. A final assessment including results of the survey may take an additional day or two to compile before they are made official. We appreciate your patience. Supplemental drone and satellite imagery requested will likely lead to further refinements of previous and future survey results.
