Partly sunny conditions were present over much of western Kansas
while partly to mostly cloudy conditions prevailed in central and
parts of eastern Kansas. Afternoon high temperatures climbed into
the lower 90s in far southwestern Kansas while those in north
central Kansas saw highs in the upper 70s.

An isolated storm or two may impact parts of Kansas this evening
with better chances late tonight as a cold front moves over the
region. Lows tonight will fall into the lower 40s over the high
plains of northwest Kansas while those in eastern Kansas bottom
out in the low to mid 60s.

Breezy northwest winds will be common across the area on Friday in
the wake of a cold front. High temperatures will top out near 70s
in far northwest Kansas while lower 80s will be common near the
Oklahoma state line.
