...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ALLEN...EASTERN WHITLEY...EASTERN
HUNTINGTON...WELLS AND NORTHWESTERN ADAMS COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM
EDT...

At 254 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Andrews to 7 miles south of Huntington to
near Montpelier. Movement was north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Wayne, Huntington, New Haven, Bluffton, Columbia City, Ossian,
Huntertown, Churubusco, Woodburn, Markle, Grabill, Aboite,
Leo-cedarville, Middletown, Roanoke, Warren, Lancaster, Preble,
Zanesville, and Uniondale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 469 between mile markers 0 and 30.
 Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 277 and 322.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northeastern Indiana.
