Areas of rain this morning helped to keep temperatures cooler
today. There were some significant amounts of precipitation in
spots. Highs did reach 71 at North Platte and 76 at Ogallala and
Imperial. High temperatures otherwise were in the mid to upper
60s.

More scattered thunderstorms are expected Saturday with high
topping out in the mid 70s to near 80.
