...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
TERREBONNE AND CENTRAL LAFOURCHE PARISHES THROUGH 630 PM CDT
...

At 553 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Chauvin, or 16 miles southeast of Houma, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Montegut and Chauvin.
