.DISCUSSION... Dense fog over the region will begin to thin after
sunrise. In the afternoon, light southwesterly winds will prevail.
These winds will help to advect additional moisture and raise dew
points into the mid to upper 60s. In the late afternoon and
evening, showers and storms will develop bringing a chance for
heavy downpours, lightning, and gusty winds. Storm chances will
continue daily through Monday. Sunday is the best chance for
severe storms.
