Good humidity recoveries are being seen this morning with modest humidity retention this afternoon as a trough of low pressure remains off of the West Coast and the marine layer deepens. Temperatures this afternoon will be below seasonal averages. A gradual warming and drying trend will then resume Thursday and even more so on Friday as temperatures warm to above seasonal averages. This will bring humidity values into the teens and twenties in the higher elevations on Friday afternoon. ERC forecasts are increasing over the next week, but should still remain below critical levels on Friday as well. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Temperatures will be cooler for the next few days, closer to the maximum normal for climatology. Overnight RH recovery values have increased, briefly relieving some of the fire weather concerns as a shortwave trough passes through. Low RH`s and high temperatures are expected to return Friday along with moderate heat risks as a ridging pattern builds back into the area. Stout northerly winds are also expected to build towards the end of the week. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-252315- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 404 AM PDT Wed Sep 25 2024 Good humidity recoveries are being seen this morning with modest humidity retention this afternoon as a trough of low pressure remains off of the West Coast and the marine layer deepens.
