West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front will slowly move
farther away from the waters tonight through Fri as high pressure
builds in from the W. There will be a lingering surface trough
along and near the New England coast into Sat. High pressure then
persists through Sun, though weak low pressure should move just N
of the waters Sat night and Sun. A surface trough may move S
across the area overnight Sun and Mon, with low pressure possibly
moving off of the mid-Atlantic coast along the trough Mon.
Another surface trough may move across the N waters Mon night,
otherwise high pressure should build in again from the NW Tues
and Tues night.
