Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...High pressure will weaken and retreat W of the area today through tonight as an area of low pressure moves farther inland across southern British Columbia. The low will push a weak cold front across the waters through the day today and into tonight. The area of high pressure will strengthen and build E towards the coast Fri through Mon night. Farther south, a coastal trough will persist along the southern Oregon coast through Sat night.
