And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central
Texas.

Early this morning, skies were partly to mostly cloudy. Scattered
showers and a few thunderstorms were over the northern Big
Country. The winds were south to southeast at 5 to 15 mph with
gusts to 20 mph. Temperatures were in the upper 60s and 70s.

Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas.

Expect an increase in showers and thunderstorms toward daybreak,
especially across the northern half of the area. Additional storms
are possible during the afternoon and evening hours. Strong to
severe thunderstorms are possible, with large hail, damaging
winds, and an isolated tornado possible. Locally heavy rainfall is
also possible. Highs today will be in the 70s across our eastern
counties and the Big Country and in the mid 80s to low 90s
elsewhere.
