High pressure will gradually shift east Monday as a trough
approaches. Expect continued warm temperatures. There is a 5-15%
chance of thunderstorms over northern California Monday afternoon
and evening. The upper trough will move in Tuesday, bringing a
cooling trend and gusty winds. A high pressure ridge returns and
conditions warm and dry towards the end of the week.

approaches. Expect continued warm temperatures. There is a 5-15%
chance of thunderstorms over northern California Monday afternoon
and evening. The upper trough will move in Tuesday, bringing a
cooling trend and gusty afternoon/evening winds. There is also a
10-20% chance of thunderstorms east of the Cascades again on
Tuesday. There could be some strong winds east of the Cascades
late day Wednesday. A high pressure ridge returns and conditions
warm and dry towards the end of the week.
