.DISCUSSION...An upper level shortwave passage today will continue
to produce breezy winds across portions of Kittitas valley, Simcoe
Highlands, OR Columbia Basin, and Cascade east slopes, with light
rain showers across the WA Cascades. A stronger and wetter system
will arrive tomorrow morning with widespread rainfall that will
persist through Monday. Windy conditions will also develop Monday
post a frontal passage, with strongest winds in the OR Columbia
Basin, Simcoe Highlands, Kittitas valley, and portions of the Blue
Mountain foothills. Isolated thunderstorm chances will also be
possible Monday afternoon across Wallowa county and portions of
the Northern Blues.
