.SYNOPSIS...
High pressure over northeast Alaska extending south through the
Interior will gradually shift westward Wednesday afternoon and
Thursday. An area of low pressure will remain nearly stationary
over the Bering Sea. The Mountain will remain between these two
features until Thursday afternoon when a new low over the western
Aleutians will absorb the Bering low. Easterly wind speeds will
increase slightly Wednesday and Thursday. Cloud cover will also
increase and snow becomes likely below 14000 ft Wednesday night
Drier air will arrive Thursday afternoon from the east and snow
chances will diminish. By Saturday the western Aleutian low will
move into the Gulf of Alaska, which will create more cloud cover
