...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulations between
  4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will lead to areas
  of blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Western Mackinac County.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  will impact the Tuesday morning commute, particularly along the US
  2 corridor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Plan on hazardous travel conditions. Gusty winds will lead to
blowing and drifting snow, along with potential for whiteout
conditions later this evening through Tuesday morning.

Snowfall may vary considerably over a short distance late this
afternoon into early tonight. Quick onsets of whiteout conditions
and changing road conditions will lead to potential for the rapid
onset of hazardous travel conditions.

EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the first Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional
  snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Winds gusting as high
  as 35 mph. For the second Winter Weather Advisory Tuesday night
  into Wednesday, snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2
  and 5 inches.

* WHERE...Benzie, Leelanau, and Manistee Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Winter Weather Advisory, until 4 PM EST this
  afternoon. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this
  evening to 4 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning
  commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
