This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band. * WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 6 AM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A quick moving lake effect snow band is expected to affect northern Douglas and Iron Counties from this afternoon through early Sunday morning. This band could bring a very quick hit of heavy snowfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour and localized total amounts of 6 inches are possible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Lake effect snow bands and showers are expected to create conditions ranging from locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can also vary greatly.
