...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation and widespread blowing snow
  expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 7 inches and ice
  accumulations around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high
  as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Minnesota and northeast and
  southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Whiteout conditions are
  expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially
  life-threatening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay indoors until conditions improve. If you
must go outside, dress in layers. Several layers of clothes will
keep you warmer than a single heavy coat. Cover exposed skin to
reduce your risk of frostbite or hypothermia. Gloves, a scarf, and a
hat will keep you from losing your body heat.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation and patchy blowing snow expected. Total
  snow accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations up to
  one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of west central Minnesota and northeast and
  southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The combination of
  falling snow and winds will lead to periods of blowing snow that
  may briefly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could
  impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds
  could cause tree damage.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation and areas of blowing snow expected.
  Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches and ice accumulations
  around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Benson and Towner Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Falling and blowing
  snow will lead to areas of quick and sudden reductions to
  visibility, making travel difficult, especially in rural areas
  that are prone to blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could
  impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation and patchy blowing snow expected. Total
  snow accumulations between 2 and 7 inches and ice accumulations
  around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest, and west
  central Minnesota.

* WHEN...From noon today to 6 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Mainly drifting snow is
  expected, but in areas prone to blowing snow, the snow may be
  lofted and briefly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Tuesday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring
  down tree branches.
