...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST THIS
AFTERNOON...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet and dangerous rip
  currents.

* WHERE...North facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ritidian Point buoy overnight did not show
the continued decline in the north to northeast swell as expected,
so the high surf and the high risk of rip currents was extended
  through this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
