Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
Surface high pressure will remain far N of the waters through the
forecast period. At 0500 AM HST Hurricane Lowell was centered at
13.3N 160.1W and moving W at 7 kts. Lowell will continue W as the
center of the cyclone passes just south of offshore waters.
Lowell is expected to curve towards the north Sunday into early
next week with Hurricane conditions possible Sunday night into
Monday over the SW and W offshore waters. Hurricane Karina in the
far E Pacific is now expected stay NE of the offshore waters.
