No critical fire weather concerns thru the next 7 days. Daily rounds of afternoon thunderstorm activity will continue to favor development over the high terrain before moving northward this afternoon and evening. There is a risk of flash flooding for areas along and west of the Continental Divide today where a Flood Watch is in effect. High pressure moves squarely over the state Thursday, allowing for smaller wetting footprints from slower moving storms each day through the weekend and into early next week. High temperatures also climb into the upper 90s to low 100s for lower elevation areas allowing for a moderate to high heat risk Thursday and through the weekend. ................................................................
