...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KIOWA...
SOUTHWESTERN STAFFORD...NORTHWESTERN PRATT AND SOUTHEASTERN EDWARDS
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 401 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Haviland, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Haviland and Wellsford around 405 PM CDT.
  Byers and Hopewell around 420 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.
