If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Good Morning Alex...The forecast for Friday is at the current time a lower confidence one. Its currently just beyond the short range models but what the trend is suggesting is a complex of storms moving eastward out of AL early on Friday toward the state...but the trend and our thinking is that the main area of storms will focus more along the Gulf coast like we`ve seen in the past, putting our area in more of a broad general rain shield. But, that scenario is not a certainty and there could be more storms around if that doesn`t happen. We are expecting an upper level system to approach the region Friday which will mostly likely trigger some type of inclement weather, but there are still many other variables in play which raise the uncertainty. Winds don`t appear to be much of a problem at current time unless there`s more thunderstorms around, i.e. out of the south 8mph gusting to 15mph. We are currently running 70-80 pct chances and model guidance is actually slightly higher than that but we brought it down a tad due to those uncertainties. .FRIDAY...
