...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM CDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL HOOD COUNTY...
At 438 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pecan
Plantation, or 9 miles southeast of Granbury, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Public.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of east
central Hood County, including the following locations... Mambrino,
Acton, DeCordova, and Lake Granbury.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for north central
Texas.
This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
