...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SPARTANBURG COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 511 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spartanburg, or near USC Upstate, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Boiling Springs SC, Pacolet, Roebuck, Pacolet Mills,
Moore, USC Upstate, Croft State Park, Cedar Springs, and Wellford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
