SOUTHEASTERN WALKER AND NORTHEASTERN HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM
CDT...

At 403 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Shepherd to near Dayton to Pasadena.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Pasadena, Baytown, eastern Conroe, Deer Park, Bellaire,
Humble, West University Place, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Liberty,
Cleveland, Dayton, Livingston, Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill
Village, Piney Point Village, Beach City, Cloverleaf, Downtown
Houston, and Greenway / Upper Kirby Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
