Numerous showers and storms moved across southern Kansas late last
night. Predawn temperatures were in the 40s and 50s over central
and eastern Kansas.

Scattered to numerous showers and storms will move slowly eastward
across southern Kansas, eastern Oklahoma, and southern Missouri
today. Severe weather is not expected with this activity. Daytime
highs will be in the 60s and 70s across the central plains.

A strong upper level weather system will move eastward across the
Rockies tonight and cause southerly winds to increase over western
sections of Kansas into Nebraska. Much of the region will remain
dry with overnight lows ranging from the 50s in Nebraska and
Kansas to the low 60s in central Oklahoma.
