Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central for Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
233 PM CDT Wed Mar 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A series of upper level disturbances moving through western and
north central Nebraska this weekend have the potential to produce
1/4 to 1 inch of rain and snow water.

Elevated fire weather conditions are likely across the southern
Nebraska Panhandle and southwestern Nebraska Thursday. The concern
is afternoon humidity between 15 and 20 percent. Winds will be
light at 20 mph or less. Cooler and more moist conditions are
likely Friday through Wednesday and there are no fire weather
concerns during this time.
