...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CRITTENDEN...NORTH
CENTRAL DESOTO AND CENTRAL SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM CDT...

At 254 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Southwest Memphis, or near T O Fuller State Park, moving northeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bartlett, Southaven, Germantown, West Memphis, Horn Lake, Marion,
Millington, T O Fuller State Park, Meeman Shelby Forest State Park,
Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, Southwest Memphis, Ellendale, Southeast
Memphis, Downtown Memphis, Whitehaven, Frayser, Midtown Memphis, and
Mound City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
