.Synopsis...High pressure to the distant northeast continues to
move east and weaken as a trough develops northwest of the area.
A surface low is forecast to deepen along the trough to the
northwest as strong high pressure builds eastward across the
Central Pacific.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.REST OF TODAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to
8 feet. North swell 3 feet. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind
waves 4 to 7 feet. Northwest swell 3 feet. Isolated showers.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY...East winds 20 to 30 knots
Alenuihaha Channel...east to southeast 10 to 20 knots elsewhere.
Wind waves 5 to 9 feet. Northwest swell 3 feet. Scattered
showers. Isolated thunderstorms near Kauai waters on Thursday.
.THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...East to southeast winds 15 to 30
knots Alenuihaha Channel... southeast 10 to 25 knots elsewhere.
Wind waves 6 to 9 feet. Northwest swell 2 to 3 feet. Scattered
showers. Numerous heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms near
Kauai waters.
.SATURDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 4 to
7 feet. Northwest swell 2 to 3 feet. Scattered showers. Numerous
heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms near Kauai waters.
