...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN SCOTT AND EAST CENTRAL
STODDARD COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1013 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bell City, or near Oran, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sikeston, Miner, Morley, Hay-Wood City, Vanduser, Blodgett, and
Diehlstadt.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 1 and 2.
 Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 66 and 77.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
southeastern Missouri.
