...The National Weather Service in Charleston WV has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in West Virginia...

  Little Kanawha River at Glenville affecting Gilmer County.

For the Little Kanawha River...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Kanawha River at Glenville.

* WHEN...Until this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water begins to cover low spots on
  Brooklyn Drive, Elm Street, and River Street.
  At 23.0 feet, Low spots on Brooklyn Drive, Elm Street, and River
  Street flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 22.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this morning to a crest of 23.2 feet this morning. It will
    then fall below flood stage this morning.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    23.3 feet on 12/19/1990.
