BALTIMORE MD...BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL THURGOOD
MARSHALL AIRPORT...

THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS BELOW NORMAL. IT WAS THE COLDEST
APRIL SINCE 2007, WHEN THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 51.4 DEGREES.

MONTHLY PRECIPITATION WAS WITHIN 1 PERCENT OF NORMAL.

MONTHLY SNOWFALL WAS NEAR NORMAL.

A DAILY RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 63 DEGREES WAS SET ON
APRIL 13TH. THIS BROKE THE OLD RECORD OF 58 SET IN 1945.

A DAILY RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 65 DEGREES WAS SET ON
APRIL 14TH. THIS BROKE THE OLD RECORD 62 SET IN 2014.

CLIMATE RECORDS FOR THE BALTIMORE MD AREA HAVE BEEN KEPT AT
BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL THURGOOD MARSHALL AIRPORT SINCE
1950. ADDITIONAL TEMPERATURE RECORDS OBSERVED DOWNTOWN EXTEND BACK
TO JULY OF 1872. PRECIPITATION RECORDS EXTEND BACK TO JANUARY OF
1871. SNOWFALL RECORDS BEGAN IN MARCH OF 1892.
