The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Calhoun County in north central West Virginia...
  Southern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia...
  Gilmer County in north central West Virginia...
  Northern Braxton County in north central West Virginia...
  Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia...
  Northeastern Roane County in central West Virginia...
  Southeastern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...

* Until 315 AM EDT

* At 1220 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1.25 inches of rain has
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Glenville, Elizabeth, Grantsville, Arnoldsburg, Cedar Creek State
  Park, Burnsville, Sand Fork, Shock, Millstone, Cherry, Smithville,
  Rosedale, Mount Zion, Newberne, Lucille, Big Springs, Berea,
  Brohard, Stumptown and Tanner.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
