and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
434 AM EDT Mon Apr 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system and frontal system will approach the
region from Georgia later this afternoon. The front will move
through the region during the evening. Widespread showers
and a few thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. Thunderstorms
are more likely in the CSRA. Winds will be east-southeast
10 to 20 mph with a few gusts to 25 mph through tonight.
The winds are expected to shift to southwest Tuesday
afternoon. The trough will remain across the region
Wednesday but the air mass will dry out.

Fog potential for tonight: Patchy fog due to rain but
mixing will be a limiting factor.
