.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system over the lower Mississippi River valley will slowly
move east, with wraparound clouds and northwest winds around 10 mph today.
These clouds will clear out of northeast Texas later this morning and will clear out of
most of the region by early this evening. Afternoon relative humidities will remain
between 50 and 60 percent and ground will remain wet after heavy rain over the weekend
across much of the area. Afternoon humidities will only fall to between 40 and 50 percent
on Tuesday under light and variable winds before scattered showers and isolated storms
return to the area briefly mid week. A slightly drier airmass will finally move into the
region by the weekend with slightly seasonally cool temperatures to continue.
