...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WINDS AND TIMING...Westerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts from
  between 35 and 50 mph will develop this afternoon. Strongest
  west of Goleta. This evening into tonight, wind will
  transition to come from the north while remaining gusty with
  the strongest winds in the foothills.

* IMPACTS...Cross winds can make driving difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles and vehicles towing
  trailers. This includes Highways 101, 154 and 192...as well as
  the Gaviota and San Marcos Passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.

* WINDS AND TIMING...Westerly winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts from
  40 to 50 mph will develop late this afternoon and persist into
  the early evening. Later in the evening the winds will shift
  and come from the north while remaining gusty.

* IMPACTS...Cross winds can make driving difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles and vehicles towing
  trailers. This includes Highway 33 in Ventura County as well
  as Interstate 5 and Highway 14 in Los Angeles County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WINDS AND TIMING...West to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with
  gusts from 45 to 55 mph will develop this morning and persist
  into the predawn hours Friday morning. The strongest winds
  will be in the western portion, especially the foothills.

* IMPACTS...Cross winds can make driving difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles and vehicles towing
  trailers. Areas of blowing dust can suddenly and dangerously
  reduce visibilities to near zero. This includes Highways 14
  and 138, especially near the foothills.
