Water levels can be expected to fall on the Buttahatchie River...
Coldwater River...Tallahatchie River in Mississippi and the
Hatchie River...North Fork Forked Deer River in Tennessee and
the Saint Francis River and L`anguille River in Arkansas.


At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Saint Francis River near Saint
Francis was 20.2 feet and falling. Flood stage is 22.0 feet.At 19.0
feet, Overbank flooding into low land near the river begins.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the L`anguille River at Palestine was
22.5 feet and falling. Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

At 11 AM Thursday, the stage on the North Fork Forked Deer River at
Dyersburg was 14.8 feet and falling. Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Hatchie River near Bolivar was
14.0 feet and falling. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Coldwater River at Marks was 38.5
feet and steady. Flood stage is 39.0 feet. At 39.0 feet, Low lying
farm land is flooded in Northern Quitman County.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tallahatchie River near Lambert
was 31.5 feet and steady. Flood stage is 32.0 feet. At 32.0 feet, Low
lying farmland in northern Quitman County is flooded..

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen
was 12.7 feet and falling. Flood stage is 13.0 feet. At 13.0 feet, Low
land near the river is flooded..
