URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Albuquerque NM
201 AM MDT Sun Mar 24 2024

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 6 PM MDT TODAY FOR THE
NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO VERY STRONG WINDS AND
LOW HUMIDITY...

.A potent storm system moving across the region today will allow
strong west winds to develop across eastern NM. The combination of
relative humidity values near 15 percent with widespread strong
west winds will allow any fires that do develop to spread within
fine fuels across the northeast and east central plains. Critical
fire weather conditions will subside early Sunday evening.
