.DISCUSSION...
Today will feature a mostly cloudy day with thickening clouds by
late day. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s to low 60s with
the warmest temperatures across the north. Low level moisture is
increasing with afternoon minimum RHs in the 50-55% range across
the north and 55-65% in the Central Highlands to Downeast coast.
Southerly winds will be increasing with 10-15mph sustained and
gusts up to 25-30mph possible especially across the north. Chance
of showers increases from W to E by late afternoon with a light
rain developing this evening. Expect light rain tonight with
accumulations generally less than 0.20 inch. Tomorrow, showers
will be ending by midday with gradual clearing of the skies.
Winds
shift westerly and generally less than 15mph but some gusts
20-25mph across the North Woods. Tomorrow will be much warmer
with
highs in the mid to upper 60s. Afternoon minimum RHs fall into
the 40-45% range across Northern and Northeast Aroostook County.
Min RHs generally 45-55% across the Central Highlands and 60-70%
along the Downeast coast. Next shot of gusty winds, warm
temperatures and low RHs will be Tuesday.
