.DISCUSSION...
Good Morning!
As Ty mentioned in yesterday evening`s spot forecast, there will
be some isolated rain showers this morning. Latest radar shows
isolated showers and storms moving into northwest GA. This
activity will continue to push east over the next few hours. For
your area this morning (between 5-8am), to account for this,
there is 20% chance of seeing a stray shower. Additionally, any
further development this afternoon still looks to remain north and
west of the ignition site. Your chance for wetting rain never
exceeds 30% for today. Any thunderstorms in and around the area
may create some gusty and erratic winds even despite any notable
rainfall. With moisture in the area, RH values will be slightly
higher than yesterday with minimum values between 45%-50%.
Surface winds remain out of the west with speeds increasing to
8-10MPH near the time of ignition. Both 20ft and transport winds
will behave similarly, though transport speeds will increase to 12
to 20 MPH by mid-morning.
We will continue to keep an eye on things through the day!
