For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Occluded Midwestern low pressure, 29.40 inches, tracks
through the Straits this morning before a secondary low pressure
system develops over hte Ohio Valley tonight. This low lifts into
the southern Great Lakes Thursday.

.TODAY...East winds 5 to 15 knots backing to the northwest in the
late morning and afternoon. Showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding
to 1 to 3 feet in the late morning and afternoon.
.TONIGHT...North winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the northeast
early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the southwest
late in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the east in
the late morning and early afternoon...then backing to the east
5 to 10 knots early in the evening backing to the northwest in
the late evening and early morning. A chance of showers early in
the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. A chance of showers in the

early in the morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to
4 feet after midnight.
