This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Gusty winds today will lead to fire weather concerns in areas
where fuels remain dry.
There is a 50 to 70 percent chance of showers and storms late
this afternoon into the evening. A few of these storms could be
strong and produce gusty winds and small hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Expect several rounds of showers and storms Thursday through the
weekend. Severe weather will be possible at times through this
period, with the highest chances currently looking to be Friday
and Friday night.
