...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Ohio, including the following
  county, Washington and West Virginia, including the following
  counties, Calhoun, Doddridge, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie,
  Roane, Tyler, Wirt and Wood.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, larger creeks, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1249 PM EDT, Larger creeks continue to cause flooding
    issues, particularly Middle Island Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ripley, Spencer, Harrisville, St. Marys, Elizabeth,
    Middlebourne, Paden City, Sistersville, Pennsboro, Belmont,
    West Union, North Bend State Park, Mineralwells, Sandyville,
    Kenna, Newport, Matamoras, Ellenboro, Cairo and Reedy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
