...The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a flood warning
for the following rivers in Minnesota...

  Mississippi River Near Fort Ripley affecting Crow Wing and Morrison
  Counties

.Recent warm temperatures have generated strong rises from snow melt
runoff. While only minor impacts are expected be aware of that high
water on the Mississippi at Fort Ripley are expected into next week.

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Mississippi River Near Fort Ripley.
* From Thursday morning until further notice.
* At 10:30 AM Tuesday the stage was 9.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
  to rise to near 10.5 feet by Saturday evening.
* At 11.0 feet...This will cause minor flooding of rural areas near
  Fort Ripley..
This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.2 feet on May 18 1999.
