Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
1120 AM EDT Wed Apr 25 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers will continue this afternoon, with the main shower
activity through the central mountains and through the northeast.
The showers will end early tonight as a trough pushes through.
The showers may linger over the higher terrain of the west into
Thursday morning. Otherwise, high pressure will move in for
Thursday and provide one dry day.

It will remain unsettled into the weekend, though. A weak low will
move up from the deep south on Friday and should produce more rain
for the daytime, primarily in the south and east. Then an upper
level trough will produce more showers Friday night and Saturday.

An extended period of dry and unseasonably warm weather is possible
next week.
