.DISCUSSION...
Extremely critical, dangerous fire weather conditions continue to
develop across the area. Wind speeds will increase significantly by
late morning and will remain gusty, likely reaching 60 mph, through
the afternoon hours. Expect the winds to shift from a west-southwest
direction to more westerly in the afternoon. West-northwest will be
favored by early evening. Several hours of single digit humidities
can be expected, with poor overnight recoveries. Surface winds will
be notably lighter tomorrow, but relative humidities will remain low.
Precipitation, including a chance for thunderstorms and wetting rain,
will enter the forecast for Thursday into Friday.
