.DISCUSSION...
A trough deepening along the West Coast will bring increasing onshore
flow to the San Luis Obispo Coast Wednesday and Thursday. The
strongest winds are expected during the afternoon to early evening
hours both days, with southwest winds gusting to 20 mph over the
ridges on Wednesday, and to 25 mph Thursday. An increasing marine
layer depth will bring a cooling and moistening trend to the area,
with temperatures gradually decreasing each day and humidities rising
to between 50 to 60 percent. On Wednesday, low clouds associated with
the marine layer are forecast to move inland to near or just over the
spot location. There is a chance the low clouds push further inland
which would increase the afternoon humidities slightly.
