.DISCUSSION...

Near critical fire weather conditions will continue through the
rest of this afternoon, with RHs around 14-15% in the burn area.
A cold front currently moving south through the Permian Basin
will result in north-northwesterly wind shift at the wildfire by
around 1800-1830 local time, with gusts to around 20-25mph possible
along and behind the front as winds continue to veer around to the
north. Winds will decrease after sunset this evening and veer to the
northeast overnight, with excellent RH recovery expected. Critical
fire weather conditions are not anticipated Sunday, with light and
variable winds and min RHs expected to be around 25%.
