For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front and broad region of weak low
pressure, 30.00 inches, will move through Lake Superior and
approach the Straits area by mid afternoon. Rain showers will
spread over the region ahead of the front before it moves through
Lake Huron and Lower Michigan tonight and early Wednesday
followed by moderate north wind. Weak high pressure, 30.10
inches, then builds in briefly Thursday before the next cold
front arrives Friday.

.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of showers
early in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet
after midnight.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots backing to the northwest
early in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet early in the afternoon.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to
5 to 10 knots after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet after midnight.
.THURSDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots late in the
evening. A chance of showers after midnight. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. A chance of showers
early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots early in the evening...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots
in the late evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
