...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20
  nm...

At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 20 nm north of Holden Beach to 8
nm north of North Myrtle Beach to 10 nm northwest of Murrells Inlet,
moving southeast at 15 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
